The Circus Historical Society will hold its 2024 Convention in Atlanta Georgia from Sunday, August 4 – Wednesday, August 7. The convention will include a special meeting for “First of Mays,” a reception, a banquet, multiple presentation sessions, and an extensive in-person and live online auction.

The presentations and panel discussions on a wide range of circus history topics will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The banquet will be at noon on Tuesday. 

In addition to the presentations, this year’s convention will include an exclusive pre-show visit to Circus Vazquez on Tuesday morning. While there, conventioneers will learn about the production, logistics, and history of this world-class circus which is celebrating its 55th anniversary this year. Later that day, the group will attend a spectacular performance of this show which is one of the last American circuses that still features a live eight-piece band!
