As a child in South Texas in the early 1950’s, I witnessed a clown car act in which lots of clowns piled out of a tiny car (early Austin, I think). I do not remember the name of the circus. I now have a tiny (1931) Austin coupe and would like to buy a copy of footage of such an act, if any can be located.

From a Polack Brothers 1956 program: “Lou’s Lunimobile … Motoring in Minature – A (Lou) Jacobean mystery: How a clown so tall can get in a car so small. With Lilliputians Simmons and Gerlich.” Jackie

That could have been Lou Jacobs, if it was RBBB circus. Fay alexander had a comedy car act, but worked by himself.

Tom, I had a chance to buy photos that could have been your show. They were at a car show I went to, I still kick myself for not buying them! I’ll put feelers out and see if I can’t help you figure it out.
